The Porcupine-Destor Fault Zone in Ontario, Canada, is one of the richest gold-producing districts in the world. Over the past hundred years prospectors searching for mineralization on surface have discovered spectacular gold deposits clustered all along the trend, extending from Timmins, Ontario, to Val d'Or, Quebec. So far, more than 110 million ounces of gold have been produced from the region.
The Company believes that much more gold remains to be discovered just beneath the surface.
Solid Gold Resources Corp. controls a +/-200-square-kilometre prospect hosting multiple-deposit potential in the heart of the famous Porcupine trend at Lake Abitibi.
